1. What would you wear on the red carpet?
I'd wear all the glitzy stuff I could find; it's the Oscars after all! I'd wear a dramatic black outfit with a splash of color. A look that's a little out of the ordinary, something that makes me stand out. A classic suit, tailored. I like to keep it simple and tasteful.
2. You're best known for playing what kind of characters?
I've been mainly in rom-com roles, but I want to get away from the goody-goody image. All kinds. I definitely like to mix up my roles a lot, keep it interesting. I play a lot of action and drama roles, but that’s because I have an edge to me. I've done it all. I'll probably be remembered for being a bit of a joker though.
3. Which film should win for Best Picture?
The Reader Frost/Nixon The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Slumdog Millionaire Milk
4. You've won the Oscar! Congratulations! What are you most likely to say in your acceptance speech?
I'll probably cry and thank everyone I've ever known. People think I'm tough, but I'm emotional too. I'd want to say how much I love my family, and the people I've worked with throughout the years. I'll thank all the great people I worked with, and mention what a journey the film was to make. Ahhh! That would be beyond words! I have no idea what I'd say.
5. Uh, oh. Looks like you crunked it up a little too much at the post-show parties last night, now you're all over the gossip rags. What are the paps after you for this time?
They'll probably think I'm hooking up with someone I totally wasn't. Being a bit brash, I tend to be very upfront when I speak. Bumping into my rival, they love to pit us against each other. I don't think they'll say much about me, actually.
