What Type of Guy Are You Into?

He's quickly going to bend down and help me pick everything up. And as our hands accidentally touch while he places the last book in my arms, he gives me a reassuring smile that says, ''It's okay. This could happen to anyone.''
He totally turns away from me and acts as if he hasn't seen anything at all. He's far to cool to actually acknowledge someone else's embarrassment; it's best just to leave someone to his/her own personal humiliation.

Well, we were walking home from school together like we've done since we were in the fifth grade and it became alright for girls and boys to associate once more. Today, the conversation was a little stilted though. Finally, as we rounded the block towards our homes, he stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, turned towards me and just asked. It was so sweet!
OMG! I thought it was never going to occur. He dropped by the country club, even though he's not a member, and snuck into our restaurant where I was getting a soda with my friends. Tension was really high so my friends left us alone, but he was still his cool, evasive self. He wouldn't even tell me why he was there, but eventually he just looked me in the eyes and said, ''We should do something sometime.'' I totally thought I'd die.

Oh, easy! First, he's going to ask me to the dance in the sweetest way possible, maybe by spelling it out in rose petals on my car. He's going to arrive at my house extra early the day of the dance so my parents can get pictures. He won't be able to take his eyes off of me as I descend the stairs. His corsage will be perfect and he will rent a white limo to take us to the dance. The whole night will obviously be magical.
Ugh! Since my guy is way too cool for anything like prom, I'm really going to have to twist his arm to go in the first place. Up until the night of prom, plans are probably still going to be tentative. As I sit in my beautiful dress and wait for him to arrive, I'll worry anxiously, but just as the clock strikes nine and I am positive I have been stood up, he will arrive in his rumbled sports jacket over a black pair of jeans, ready to take me to prom. It will mean so much to me as we walk through the door together because I know he will have compromised some of his values and his reputation for me.

Oh, we've been friends forever. I could tell you about the time in first grade where the school bully took his action figure and he cried and cried until I went over and wrestled it from the big kid's grasp.
I remember seeing him sneaking out the back door of our school building to skip class with his friend. Just as he was about to leave, he caught me looking at him and he delicately raised his finger to his mouth as if to say, ''Shhh-- it’s our little secret.''

It didn't happen all at once. We were hanging out in my basement like usual. We were watching a movie, when suddenly, he said something and I looked at him for a long moment from across the couch and realized I was head over heels for him.
The first time I saw him leaning on a tree in our school yard. He had on a black leather jacket that just made him look so cool. Then we locked eyes for what felt like an eternity, but was more likely just a moment. I knew then that I was in love.
