I am pretty rough around the edges, but I have a really good heart.
I'm very smart and have a very sarcastic sense of humor.
In general I'm a kind and caring person, but sometimes I have to be tough to get anywhere.
I'm a mature, father/mother type figure, who feels that sometimes ''tough love'' is the only way to go.

I work a 9-5 type job, and then I go home to my family.

When I leave work, I go home to spend time with my family and catch up on the latest news concerning my profession.

Nearly getting killed in Vietnam.
Getting shot in the arm.
Being fired upon during the Gulf War.
Being wounded during a hold-up.
Having my throat slashed by a perp.
Getting beat up by the brother of one of my victims.
Getting the snot kicked out of me by a serial killer when trying to get him to confess.
Being shot in the butt.

Sometimes I wear a wedding band...sometimes I don't.
Well...I have lots of exes...
Very married. With children.
Married with one child.
Single...but I haven't given up hope yet. I was engaged years ago, but it didn't work out.
I'm a widower.
I am single and I have no intentions of hooking up anytime soon.
I was engaged once, but it didn't work out. I don't like to let people get close to me.

I come from a large family. I have a lot of brothers and sisters.
My kid is my only family.
I have one brother that I occasionally throw some business to...he owns a funeral parlor.
I have one sister and my parents are still alive.

No family...it's pretty lonely being me.

It's always been the SVU for me, although I have helped the FBI by going undercover.
I used to treat the people I now help to convict for the FBI.
I was a medic in the Air Force.
I was an undercover agent for the Narcotics Division.
I used to handle white-collar crimes.
I took my pension from another precinct up north and joined the SVU.
I fought in Vietnam, headed the Anti-Corruption Task Force, and worked in the Homicide Division.
I was one of the few and the proud.

None really...I'm sure there's a God, but I don't practice any particular religion.

My mother was raped and because of that she became an abusive alcoholic.
I thought I could ''fix'' sick people. But as it turns out, they didn't want to be fixed.
After having only sporadic contact with my kid, I found out he was gay.
