Well, I call my friend and ask her to check the list, twice, to see who is invited. I need to know if the person I’ve been crushing on is coming.
The first person who is likely to hear is my dog when I shriek with excitement.
Oh my mom. I have to make sure the family doesn’t have any other plans that night.
My boyfriend or girlfriend. We like to plan things in advance.

2. You’ve been shopping for the absolute perfect present for the person at the top of your Christmas list this year. What is that present?

A squeaky toy. My pet LOVES squeaky toys.
This totally rare piece of vinyl. My boyfriend or girlfriend is going to flip since they’re completely in love with this band.
It’s a special gift that says, ''I’m into you.'' But it can’t be so big that it says, ''I love you'' because I don’t want to scare the person off.
A sweater for my aunt. She absolutely loves the clothes I pick out for her.

3. So the Christmas season is rolling around and it’s really stressful. Who is the one person that knows just what to do to calm you down?

My boyfriend or girlfriend. With one kiss I’m totally relaxed.
My puppy. We just have to play fetch for a while and I forget about all my cares.
My friends. They just have to mention my crush, I swoon and all nerves are gone.
My family. They make me feel centered. I can’t be nervous or upset when they’re around.

4. So as important as Christmas is, there is one holiday that’s even more important this season, New Year’s Eve. Where will you be spending the happiest night of the year?

I’ll probably be at a family member’s house. We like to spend all the important holidays together.
At a party eyeing the person and trying to figure out how to work my way towards this person before the clock strike midnight.
I’ll be with the person I’m dating. It doesn’t matter where we are we just need to be within kissing distance at midnight.
With my dog at home. It’s much more fun to cuddle than go out to a drunk party.

5. Wow! You just woke up from the best dream. Who was feature prominently in this dream?

My pet. It was running across the field and ready to jump into my arms.
My parents. We were all standing around celebrating my birthday together.
The person I’ve secretly been crushing on. They told me they love me.
My boyfriend or girlfriend. In the dream I think we were getting married.
