1. Happy Birthday! You've just received a bunch of checks from relatives you haven't spoken to in months. Thoughts on spending your money?
You feel sort of guilty about receiving money from people you barely talk to, so your checks will most likely gather dust before you decide what to do with them. You've already mapped out an entire day of shopping in which you plan to hit every major mall store. You hit up websites and catalogs first to scope out sales...only on items you need, of course. You'll most likely spoil yourself and buy the first big shiny thing you see. It's your birthday, dang it!
2. Your parents dole out a certain amount of money per week for you to use to buy lunch. What are you really doing with that money?
Only buy a very small, cheap lunch, so you can save most of the money. And gorge on your friends' leftovers, of course. Saving it all to buy your own hovercraft. Duh. You always manage to blow it all in one day, especially on group trips to Starbucks. Frappuccinos for everyone! Buying lunch. If by ''lunch'' you mean those delicious fruit pies the cafeteria sells.
3. You're out at a restaurant with a huge group of friends, and it's time to pay the bill. You:
Take charge and figure out what everyone owes, including tip. Throw down a little more than what you owe, but you don’t ask for change. You like looking like a high-roller. Only put in what you think you owe. You're still mad about paying for more than your share last time you went out. Always end up having the cheapest meal, because you refuse to spend all your money on food.
4. Your parents' wedding anniversary is next week. Any thoughts on what you’re going to get them?
Make them a nice card. Hey, it's the thought that counts! Anything that's bigger and better than what your siblings have planned. It's all riding on whether or not they're going to let you spend a - ahem - very unsupervised weekend away with your significant other. You have gift-getting almost down to a science, and you've been able to figure out exactly what they want from taking hints through everyday conversation.
5. Eek! The newest version of the iPod hits stores today! What's your plan of action?
No plan of action for you. But if you happen to see one in a store window and the timing is right, you might pick one up. Please. Everyone knows an even better version will come out in a few months! You'd rather save up and wait til then. You'll be the first to set up camp outside the Apple store. Depends on what the weather's like. You're not waiting in some huge line in the rain!
