1. One of the friends in your social circle is having a birthday party this Saturday. Problem is, you already have plans to hang out with another friend you haven't seen in a few months, who is coming in from out of town. What do you do?
Eh, doesn't really matter to me. I'm friends with them both, and they'll both understand whatever I decide in the end. Ah! I hate situations like this. I'll see what my out-of-town friend’s schedule is, and see if I can work in a few hours at the birthday party. I'd like to see them both, if possible. I'll see if I can bring my friend to the birthday party. Another cool person couldn't hurt the fun, right?
2. It's the biggest crush your friend has ever had on someone, but the thing is...you once dated this person--only your friend doesn't know it. Do you tell your friend?
I hint that I knew my friend's crush once, but I don't let on to what extent. I want to cover myself in case anything happens, but I don’t want to interfere with the crushiness of it all. Of course! I couldn't keep a secret like that from my friend. If I'm still on good terms with my old flame, I'll see if I can hook up a date for the two. Nah. Nothing will probably happen between them anyway, so it doesn’t matter.
3. Your best friend ever tells you secrets alllll the time. Do you reciprocate?
For sure. I'm so glad I have someone to talk to about my most private stuff. Nah, it's not that important to me if they know me that well. Kind of. Some stuff I don't trust him/her with, however.
4. One afternoon you and your bestie are day-dreaming of going off to college. All of a sudden you realize that you want to go to schools on opposite ends of the country. Do you panic?
A little. I mean, we spend every day together. I guess it'll be ok. Whatever, it's life. Our friendship probably wouldn't have lasted that long anyway, you know? Never! I'm so excited for them, and I know that there's no way that we could ever lose touch. We're best friends are for life!
5. Your friend's parents are having a major blowout fight at her house right now, and she really doesn't want to stay home but doesn't have transpo out. You told your folks that you'd stay in tonight to watch your little brother, so you can't leave either. What's next?
I just tell my friend that fights happen and it'll probably pass. I try to help calm my friend down on the phone. That's all I can really do. I cell a mutual friend and see if he can pick her up and bring her over. We can all order pizza or something, and chill. Fights aren't fun.
