1. Ding! Ding! Ding! It’s the first day of school. You have to get out of bed and get going. How do you feel about starting a brand new year?
I’m ready, but still a little nervous. There is a lot of pressure with school. I have to do my best so that I can really get some where in life. Ugh, are you kidding?! I though that was over in my life. I just want to move on to the real part of my life now. I’m totally anxious. I have no idea what I’m going wear or what I’m going to do or say. School is so stressful. I’m so excited! I get to see all my friends, hand out and have fun. There really is nothing better.
2. Whoa! You just received a massive homework assignment. What do you do to tackle to this huge project?
I hunker down and get serious right away. Homework and learning is really important. That’s why I’m in school. I don’t know. Depends how I’m feeling that day. If I’m feeling like my motivated self I might just get to it, but if I’m feeling petulant, I might skip it and try to argue with my teach about it tomorrow. You do what you have to do to get by, obviously. I may not like it, I probably won’t, but I understand that completing the assignment is my responsibility today. Well, I’ll probably play around on the internet for a few hours, maybe talk to some friends and then, begrudgingly, do the homework quickly late at night.
3. Mrs. Smith just called you to babysit this Friday night. It’s cool because you need the money, but Friday is always party night with your friends. What do you do?
I’ll probably make up some lie as to why I can’t babysit. I don’t want to disappoint her, but I don’t want to skip a party with my buddies either. Tell her that Friday is party night with my friends and she should call me another time, obviously! I can always get money from my parents. Well if I really needed the money there wouldn’t really be a choice, would there? I’m going to forgo the party and babysit. She obviously thinks I’m a trustworthy person and it’s important to maintain that trust.
4. Your new group of friends is trying to think up a nick name for you because everyone in your group has a nick name. Which one is most fitting for your?
The Straight and Narrow Party Monster The Weary Traveler The Chameleon
5. It’s your birthday and you are trying to decide what to do to celebrate. Which of the below sounds like the best plan?
I want a huge party with tons of people all there to celebrate me! I’d really like a party with a few of my closest friends. Mostly I just want to hang out with the people I love. Whatever! Birthdays come and go by now. None are really that important. I want to have the most exclusive party in school. I want to make sure only the best people are invited.
