1. You’re hanging out at your local 7-11 just waiting for the gang to show up. Other kids from school are passing you by as you wait. What are they saying about you or to you?
Everyone is pointing to me as the new girl and whispering about some rumor they’ve heard about me. I wish they’d just come up and ask me directly. I’d totally tell them what is real and what is not if they tried to get to know me. Lots of people are stopping to tell me how well I did in the last school play and how exciting it is that I took All State in this year’s Scholar Bowl. It’s cool to be well known for my accomplishments. People are just shocked to see me around. They haven’t seen me in ages, so they’re all stopping just to say hey and to see what I’ve been up to. Oh everyone is giving me skin as they pass. I’m tight with my bros, but respected by everyone. They’re all looking at me admiringly, but no one will say anything to me. My status is so high people are terrified to talk to me.
2. Your personal style says a lot about how you are inside. So go take a look in your wardrobe and tell us about your clothes.
You know my style has changed a lot in the last year or so. It’s really different from who I use to be and is still sort of evolving. My clothing is really eclectic. I love that I can look different every day and no one really judges me for that. My style sort of blends in with my friends. We definitely look a lot alike, though we each have our personalities too. My clothes are totally retro. I don’t wear anything that isn’t vintage. My clothes are always the height of fashion because I make the trends in my school. Whatever I wear is what everyone wants to wear.
3. You’re trying to break into the music business. This is hard work, wheew! What do you have or what do you do that will put you over the top?
I have the whole retro factor going for me. People love nostalgia, so obviously they will love me! I’m new and cute. People are always interested in what they’ve never seen before. SO that should gain me a lot of notoriety right up front. I’m just uber popular. I already have a large following that is more than likely going to make me a huge sensation. I’m multitalented. I sing, I act, I do the whole shebang. There is nothing getting in my way! I have my bros with me. It’s easier to break into the industry when you have the support of those you love around you.
4. It’s hard to be a celebrity when you’re young. What would you say is the hardest part of being a teen icon?
It’s the fact that people are always wanting to tear you down. It’s hard to hear some times. People are so curious about you. They want to know every detail about your life. Suddenly you’re completely under a microscope. It can really put a strain on your close relationships. That people are always questioning your talent. Why can’t anyone believe that people can really sing, dance and act? That you hit the top and there is no where else for you to go, but down.
5. You’re always known for something when you’re a teen celebrity! What is your big claim to fame?
I am the most popular kid in town right now. I’ve earned more money than any teen before me. I’m just new and exciting. That’s why everyone is so into me. That I am part of an uber group with my family. Than I am a triple threat. That I use to be really famous when I was a teen.
