1. So it’s graduation time! You’re parents just told you that for a graduation present you can host a party. What is the first thing you start doing?
Well I’m going to make a list of all the places where I might be able to throw the party. Then I’ll work out a budget. Of course I’ll have to start figuring out how many people I can invited and who will be making the list. Oh there are just so many things to do. Oh my god! I’m sending out a massive text like ASAP. Then I’m making a blog post so that everyone knows right away. This party is going to be the social event of the summer! I don’t really know what to do. I’m not even sure I’ll have a party. Even if I did, I’m not sure any one would actually attend. Umm, I have to start figuring out how I can get alcohol since my fake ID was confiscated like four months ago. This is going to be a ragger! I need to put a set list together. Once I know the music I’m playing, I’ll know what type of party I’m going to have.
2. You and your friends have totally been invited to this hotties birthday party. Your friend, who has a major crush on this person, is really excited. What do you do to get ready?
Well, first we have to pick out a designated driver. Then we have to decided who is going with whom. Of course we’ll have to meet some where first to eat and coordinate outfits. I’m calling all my friends immediately! We need a major entourage that is classy and styling when we walk into this soiree. Oh well, I’ll go if my friends really want me too, but I’m not really up for it. I’d much rather just hang out with my friends and watch movies. Uh, we’re totally crashing the party with a keg in hand. Hello! What is a party if we can’t do keg stands and beer pong? I’m going to burn a CD of some good tunes, just in case they run out of things to play. Bad music at a party is like having a bad wedding cake at a wedding. It affects everything!
3. Information is the key to really good parties. Where do you find out about most of the goings on in your town?
Well, I’m usually organizing them, so I am the person disseminating the information. Umm, I’m the social epicenter of my high school. Of course everyone tells me everything, so I will ALWAYS know when the next great party is going on. Usually happenstance. I don’t really care if I know or not. I find out a lot of stuff through music blogs. That’s where I hear about all the best new gigs. Well if someone tells me about it, they usually want a ragging party!
4. How you organize your life is typically emblematic of your personality as a whole. So tell us, what does your room look like?
It’s extremely organized. Everything is in its proper place at all times, otherwise I know I won’t be able to find anything and I’ll be crazy. Well, my walls are filled with pictures of my friends and I. Ugh! My room is a total pig pen. Seriously I think something maybe growing under my bed. My room is modest, but sweet. My room is wall to wall music. From my turn tables, to my cds to my posters, it’s all music all the time.
5. Wow, it’s finally that time. You’re looking at colleges and judging where you want to go to school next year. What are you looking for in a school?
A place that has challenging classes in my area of study. One that also has great extra curricular activities as well as good connections post college. One with an active Greek system. I need to socialize. One that is quiet and close knit. I don’t want to feel lost in a sea of people. I just need a good party school. So who ever has the best reputation for drinking, I’m there! One that has a good music scene. Whether it’s their radio station, music venues or just major, I need something has good tunes all the time.
