1. Okay so obviously if we’re going to talk about shopping at stores, we have to start with the mall. You’re at the mall with your friends and the cutest item totally catches your eye. What is it that’s make you freak about this piece of clothing?

Oh nothing, but it’s just a plain white tee, but it’s made from such nice material, I’m sure it will last forever. You can always use a plain white tee.
OMG! The tank in the window looks like it came straight out of the sixties. Seriously it could have been ripped off of John Lennon’s corpse. How cool!
The cargo shorts in the window. I could totally going hiking in them, but they’re still clean cut enough to wear them to my mom’s Fourth of July BBQ. Multipurpose shorts, genius!
A polo that comes in four different colors?! I want every single one so I can mix and match.
The t-shirt has a zombie ripping her heart out and handing it to someone. That’s so gross it’s cool. I have to have it.

2. Schools out for summer! You run down the hall totally stoked to start your vacation. What are you doing this summer that’s got you all revved up?

I don’t have anything too exciting planned. Just getting away from all these stupid preps will make my summer fantastic.
Well, there’s camp and then vacation with my family. With my summer job and all the time I plan to spend with my friends, I think it’s going to be an action packed summer.
I’m working at this arts camp. I can’t wait to teach little kids how to act or paint. Plus the summer line up for concerts is going to be amazing.
Oh I’m doing typical summer things. I’m hanging out at the beach or pool with my friends, working a little bit and generally sitting around the house.
Well I have tennis camp for half of the summer and then leadership camp for the second half. It’s going to be a full, but fun summer.

3. OMG! You’re bf or gf just totally broke up with you and it absolutely sucks. What are you going to do to help yourself feel better?

I’m totally calling all of my friends over. I need my friends more than ever now.
I’m going to write poetry or paint a picture. I feel like I really need to express my sorrow sadness right now.
I don’t know, I’ll probably do the same old traditional stuff like eat Ben and Jerry’s and watch bad movies. It works for everyone else, why not me?
I’m going to go outside and get some exercise. Maybe if I punch a punching bag or run 10 miles, I can get rid of this awful feeling.
Please I’m just going to hole up and wallow for a while. Life sucks.

4. Remember when you were five years old and you heard the tinkling sound of the ice cream man? What would you do?

My friends and I would all chip in and buy a push up pop together.
I would race out of my house and if he’d already passed, I’d run after him and flag him down so all the kids in the neighborhood could have ice cream.
I’d pick out the most colorful and interesting ice cream he had. A clown ice cream bar?! Sign me up!
I remember crying a lot when the ice cream man came around because I never got exactly what I wanted.
Well, usually I’d ignore it. We always had my favorite plain vanilla ice cream in the fridge.

5. So look in your closet and tell us, what is your favorite item of clothing right now?

I have a really nice white sweater that I wear a lot.
This amazing vintage jean vest. It looks like it came straight out of the 80s.
My khaki pants because they go together with my cardigans so well.
My Nikes. I can do anything in them.
My black Tripp pants.
