1. You get home from school and there's a note from your mom saying she had to head out of town for the night, i.e. you have the place to yourself for almost 24 hours. So you...
Host a very controlled party with whoever is around and wants in. Don't worry, I'll handle the cops if they show up... I'm a really good talker. Raid the fridge and play video games and stay up all night. Duh! Probably just make myself some dinner, watch the news, and go to sleep. I've got a big Chem test tomorrow, anyway. Invite some friends over-- watch some TV, have some beers maybe, and chill out. Nothing too big because cleanup would suck!
2. So you say it's your birthday, huh? Time to blow out the candles! How are you going to ring in your new year?
Go to dinner with some of my closest friends and boy/girlfriend and then out for the night. Who knows what'll happen, but I'm sure it'll be awesome. I'm headed to the nearest city to go all out-- bars, clubs, wherever. I'm old enough now. With a Harry Potter themed birthday, of course-- I'll dress up as Harry, of course. Eh. I don't know. It's just another year-- my parents will probably just get me a cake and sing or something.
3. Finally! A day off. How do you spend it?
Watching cartoons, playing computer games, and pigging out-- though I do that everyday. Catching up on soap operas or watching a lot of Court TV while eating my frozen dinners. Just hanging out with my friends-- maybe hit up the mall or the movies. At the nearest Starbuck's, reading and having intellectually stimulating conversations.
4. There's a million ways to keep in touch, but what's your preferred way of communication?
The telephone is the most respectable way to communicate-- people are just so impersonal these days. How difficult is it to pick of the phone for Pete's sake? Texting-- it's quick and easy and my friends all know my shorthand. E-mail because it's both business-like and friendly and I can handle a lot at once. I just scream for what I want-- trust me, it's very effective.
5. Your best friend needs some advice about some drama going on with his/her boy/girlfriend. You...
Can't really help. I don't even know what a real relationship is! Have him/her sit with you over a nice, hot cup of tea and talk it out. Try to cheer him/her up by watching his/her favorite movie that you two always laugh at. Quote something you heard Oprah say on yesterday's show. Seriously, she knows all.
