What's Your Social Persona?

Usually I'll see a group of people I've met before, so I'll go in and start catching up with them.
I usually walk in the door and pose in the doorway so I can see the entire crowd and they can see me.
I usually do a lap around the room, scoping out all the different people and then start talking to the first interesting people I see.
I'll hang back with my friends for a while, just looking around at all the people at the party.

I heave myself into my seat and tell anyone who will listen about the horrible morning I had trying to get to school.
I'll usually come in and say hi to a few people that I know in the class before I sit down.
I'll sit down with my friends and continue the conversation we were having in the hall.
I'll sit down quietly, organize my material and then watch everyone arrive for class.

IM. I like to talk to a whole bunch of people at once.
E-mail. Usually I have a long story to tell, so I'll write an e-mail and send it everyone.
The phone. I like to talk for a long period of time and my hands get tired typing.
I really have no preference.

I'm going to hang back and sort of get the lay of the land. In the end maybe I can spot a group that looks similar to my old group of friends.
When I get to my first class, I'll start talking with the person sitting next to me. Hopefully they'll find me interesting enough to start introducing me to some of their friends.
I'll try to meet as many people as I can as soon I walk through the door. If I meet enough people, I'm sure I will find a group of friends I really connect with.
I will walk in confidently, making sure that everyone notices me. Eventually people will be intrigued enough to introduce themselves.

I'll get my group of friends to start harassing his or her group of friends. Hopefully he or she will notice me and we could start talking.
I'll go up and ask what he or she bought. Usually that's enough to spark a conversation.
I'll usually get up and make some sort of spectacle so that everyone will be watching me.
I'd probably just try to catch his or her eye from across the food court. If he or she notices me, then it was meant to be. If not then I'll live.
