1. You have less than a week to figure out your New Year's plans. What do you expect you'll be doing?
Drinking, dancing, hooking up, passing out. You know, the usual. Trying to stuff myself into the outfit I bought for the occasion, but probably won't fit into, which will, in turn, result in a miserable evening. I'm bound to look like crap. I'm not too picky. I guess I'll just go along for the ride. I mean, I sure as hell cannot get a big group soirée together myself. Ugh. I don't know. My date is probably going to ditch me because I heard s/he is hooking up with someone else now and I'll have to watch everyone else kiss someone at midnight. Whatever. At least there will be some trashy, skanky people to mock. Well, I'm going to a friend's house. I say, let someone else figure it out. As long as I have fun and don't have to do any work, I'm cool.
2. This season can definitely be stressful, but it can also be a lot of fun. What's the best part of the holidays for you?
The family-- I love getting together so that I can laugh at the people who are more screwed up than me. Open bars! The multiple course dinner-- I'm salivating just thinking about it. The presents, obviously. The tradition-- gotta love anything that means I don't have to do the thinking and figure out a plan.
3. And the worst?
The extra lbs I know I'll be putting on. Spending so much money. I wish I could just buy myself something instead--- ooh, like an iPhone! That'd be sweet. Being hungover at school/work the next day after a holiday party. My head is pounding right now, actually. Remembering everything I have to do. It's so complicated! Trying to be nice for Santa's sake, even though I am naturally naughty.
4. These days, it's practically impossible to change the channel without seeing ANOTHER holiday flick on the screen. So which Christmas movie character can you relate to most?
Kevin McAllister in ''Home Alone'' Bridget Jones in ''Bridget Jones' Diary'' Willie in ''Bad Santa'' The Grinch in ''How the Grinch Stole Christmas'' Buddy in ''Elf''
5. And if it's not a Christmas movie, TV show marathons are certainly plentiful this time of year. Which one could you watch over and over again?
''Lost''-- I never really understand what's going on, not that I think the writers do either though. ''Gossip Girl''-- the stuff that goes on there is so much juicier than here. I eat it up. ''Project Runway''-- the clothes are amazing. I wish I had a stylist to pick out all of my outfits. ''Real World''-- if I hardly had to work AND could go out every night in awesome digs like those AND get famous, I'd be set. ''Top Chef''-- everything just looks so delicious!
6. Holiday time is certainly not lacking on the family front. And there is such thing as too much of mom and dad. Ugh-- they can be so annoying! So what are they always on your case about?
Coming home late. Spending too much money. Going over my cell phone minutes. Eating my vegetables. Cleaning up my room.
