I'd take him/her out of course! Show him/her some great time, maybe find them new love!
I'd try and cheer him/her up, tell him/her how important they are to us! Don't worry everything will be ok!
Sit them down, talk to them about the matter, what's troubling them, how did this happen, when, why, handling this in a good manner.
Talk to them about the good old days, ignore the bad stuff!
He/She's too sad and soft right now, ignore it. Don't want to make it worse for him/her. x__x
Hug them and tell them everything will be okay! Here have a tissue and blow on on it! :{
Take his/her arm and run out the door and have a blast, not like the conflict matters! SH#$ happens!
