1. You are in a tavern & a fight breaks out. You:
I'm about to punch the other guys head in. He should have thought twice before calling ME stupid.
I'd be sitting in the shadows, watching the fight with disintrest.
Am not paying attention. stupid fools.
I'm not in the fight, but you can be sure i'll be in the front row, watching.
I'm standing at the back of the crowd, watching the fight from a distance.
I'd be trying to break up the fight.
I'm not in the tavern, i'll be outside somewhere...
2. The fight has been broken up & you prepare to leave. The inn-keeper is barring your way, & for some unknown reason the oaf wants you to pay for damages. what do you do?
Try to reason with him. If that doesn't work i'll just pay the man.
Divert his attention & then sneak out while he's trying in vain to see something on the opposite wall.
Just walk past & ignore him, holding up a weapon in warning.
Hypnotise him, & make him give you all his gold, then walk out.
Look down your nose at the fool, & arrogantly tell him you had nothing to do with the fight. If this doesn't work i'll zap him with a few spells.
Punch him in the belly, then throw him over the bar bench (which is ten metres away) then walk out, smashing a few windows as I do.
I told you, I wasn't in the tavern at the time.
3. As you are leaving the town, a gang of theives ambushes you. What now?
I call a few nearby plants to tangle them up so they cannot move.
I skillfully disarm them, tie them up, & hand them over to the town authorities.
As they are running at me I take out a few with my bow, then spear the rest when they get near.
I cast a spell on them to 'relieve' them of thier free will & make them my minions. I then make them walk over a cliff.
I throw a few fireballs at them, then zap them with a lightning nova. They ran away pretty quickly after that...
Using a variety of weapons I...lets just say they won't be bothering anyone else anymore...
I wound them not enough to kill them, but enough so that they have learned thier lesson & will be unable to bother anyone else for a long time.
4. You are now out of town. What are you planning to do on this venture?
Destroy evil magic in all it's forms.
Learn new fighting skills.
Learn new spells & gain more skill in those I already know.
Why do YOU want to know?
Explore & learn about new places.
Battle some evil, rescue a few damsels in distress, convert people to the true light. The usual.
Become more at one with nature, & gain it's trust.
5. It's getting late so you decide to set up camp in the first clearing you come across. Whats the first thing you do?
Ask the trees & creature of the forest if there is danger near.
Set up camp, light fire, take stock of my supplies.
I go scout out the area, collecting food & firewood as i go.
Wish I had a few minions to set up camp for me... get some animals to scout the area for you, but not of thier own free will...
Make a fire, find the nearest watersource & check the weather to see if a storm is near.
Sharpen my weapons, & run a few practise drills with them.
Stealthily scout out the area, keeping to the shadows & making sure that no-one & nothing sees you.
6. At about midnight you wake to the sounds of demonic chanting & see a blue light flickering through the trees. It looks like it's coming from quiet far away, but what do you think should be done about this?
Sneak over very quietly & investigate, trying not be seen.
Holding two weapons you chrge over to see whats happening.
Holding up a fireball for light, you decide to stroll over & investigate.
Hmmm...I could use some more minions...
Pick up a few weapons & slowly walk over to investigate.
Demonic chanting? we'll soon fix that! charges over to the light.
I send my animal friends over to investigate, & follow them slowly over.
7. The chanting seems to be coming from some worshippers of the three prime evils! Little red deamons are dancing around a blue fire, & a shaman is chanting. What do you do now?
I make a stream of lava come out of the fire to burn them!
"The deamons must die!" runs in wielding sword & chanting hymns.
Pick off a few with my bow, & if the rest notice then i'll try spear the leader.
I'd kill them with some spells, then raise them as minions! mwa ha ha ha!
I'd make the fire explode out at them, then pick off the survivors with lightning bolts.
There is only one thing these folk'll listen to. The sharp end of my axe!
Pick of the ones that stray to near to my hiding place, blind the rest, & throw in a few traps for good measure.
8. Despite your best efforts, you were caught & have been tied to a stone sacrifice table. The leader is approaching with a glowing dagger. What now?
I mind-blast them, & in thier confusion get one to untie me. I then sneak away. quickly.
Pfft, like these puny ropes clould hold me! I'd snap the ropes & attack the rest of the cultists with my bare hands!
I'd burn through the ropes, then freeze the deamons with a frost nova, pick off a few with some well-placed chain lightnings then get out of there.
I'd hypnotise them into letting me go, kill the leader & the rest of them, enslave thier spirits & i now have my minions! About time too!
Using incredible gymnastic skill, i'd somehow reach my weapons (which the stupid deamons placed next to me on the sacrifice table) & cut myself free.
I would nobely accept my death & loudly chant prayers & hymns. Eventually the deamons let me go just to make me shut up!
I'd burn through the ropes & get my forest friends to help me! :)
9. Ok, you are now far away from those damned cultists. On your map there seems to be a town nearby, what do you want to do?
Town? yea right, towns are boring. I'm staying here in the forest!
I'll go to town, might be a church or cathedral I can visit.
I really do like it here in the forest, it's so nice here. But if going to town would mean a hot meal & a bed, then i guess i'll go to town...
Hmmm....The village might have a graveyard...that could mean more minions. Grins evilly
This forest is very interesting, & i'd like to study it for a bit longer.
The town should have a barracks where I can hone my fighting skills... If not that, then at least they'll have a tavern...
Hmmm...in town there will be a few gullible fools I can trick...
10. Ok, for whatever reason, your in town, back in a tavern. What happens?
I'm in a dark corner somewhere, spying & gleaning any information of dark magic users in the area that i can.
I drink & start a fight. Is there anything better to do?
I order a meal & try to ignore the rabble around me.
I'll be in a corner, reading the towns latest obitiories. Nice, light reading...
I'm getting my equipment reapaired, & learning about the towns history & traditions.
Getting all the equipment & supplies i'll need for the journey ahead. You can't be too careful.
